Bez Peka

"Without Pek" is a spectacular, mystical, and vibrant story rooted in Ukrainian mythology and folklore, yet presented through a modern stage interpretation. The play was written by the renowned Odesa playwright Alla Oleshko.

In a world where ancient gods and mythical creatures still shape human destinies, a powerful Horseshoe of Power—a sacred symbol capable of shifting the balance between good and evil—goes missing. It is being hunted by Pek, the cunning and dangerous lord of dark forces, who seeks to gain dominion over the realms of both humans and gods.

The mysterious thief, Demian, finds himself in the Valley—a sanctuary for young women who have fled a world that is altering its gods and beliefs, choosing instead to remain faithful to ancestral traditions. Also arriving there are young seminarians from the new church—young men who have never truly known the company of women.

But what happens when Perelesnyk, one of Pek’s henchmen, loses his magical powers because he has fallen in love with a mortal woman?

And what can you do when the world around you changes so rapidly that even flight offers no escape?

Now, the heroes must not only reclaim a stolen power but also grasp the most important lesson: true power lies not in a magical object, but in a person's ability to make their own choices.
